Bigmouth Strikes Again
"Bigmouth Strikes Again" is an artwork I created, inspired by The Smiths' song of the same name. My intention was to capture the tension between self-expression and consequence, akin to the song's lyrics.
Utilizing a limited color palette and incorporating slightly blended linework of digital ink, I sought to mirror the emotional intensity of the music. The illustration primarily delves into the moment when our words transform into weapons, an experience I personally find all too familiar. The video-games like devices in the artwork represent the intricate layers of our lives, where each action and uttered word carries weight, echoing the parallels found in the progression of our video games.
